OBSERVATION CHAMBER / ACTIVE

Causal Cone Observatory

Place events on a discrete space-time grid and watch finite local rules form future cones, causal diamonds, overlaps between future regions, and unreachable regions.

causality / light cone Observation Model

SPACE / TIME

Watch a local rule draw a causal cone

Place two events on the grid, then inspect which cells can be reached by a finite local rule.

READY

Focus the grid. Arrow keys move the selected event; Delete/Backspace reset Event A to its default position or remove Event B. The drawing is a discrete local-reachability model.

Grid ready. Select a mode to place an event or a block.

OBSERVATION CONTRACT

Reachability, not prediction

This chamber uses a discrete local-reachability model on a grid. Delete/Backspace reset Event A to its default position or remove Event B. It is not an exact relativity solver, a prediction system, or a proof of causality.

WHAT TO WATCH

Finite steps leave a visible boundary

  • Place Event A and Event B to compare their separation in space and time.
  • Increase spread to widen each local step, or add blocks to create unreachable cells.
  • Compare the future-region overlap with the causal diamond. The overlap counts cells reachable from both events; the diamond lies between causally ordered events.

MODEL NOTE

Local reachability rule

|Δx| ≤ cΔt

Each local transition is x→x+d, t→t+1 (|d|≤c). The symbols describe this finite grid rule only.

OBSERVATION POLICY

This lab runs in your browser as a visual model. It is not an exact relativity calculation, real-world causal inference, or prediction tool.
