OBSERVATION CHAMBER / MVP

Neural Pulse Network

Stimulate nodes, break paths, and watch pulses reroute through a changing network.

NEURAL PULSE NETWORK

Stimulate nodes, damage paths, and watch pulses reroute through surviving links.

SYSTEM NOTE

Signals become legible when the route breaks.

This lab is a visual approximation of pulse propagation, overload, path damage, and rerouting in a graph. It is not a medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical neuroscience tool.

OBSERVATION POINTS

Stimulate, overload, damage, reconnect.

  • PULSE and canvas clicks inject activity into the network.
  • STORM makes overload zones spread through connected nodes.
  • DAMAGE removes paths so the network has to route around missing links.
  • REHAB and TRACE BYPASS show reconnection and alternate paths without implying medical treatment.

SYSTEM NOTE

G = (V, E) is a signal graph. Node activation updates as a_i(t+1) = decay * a_i(t) + sum_j(m_ji * w_ji * a_j(t)) + noise, where m_ji masks damaged edges and bypass links are visual reroute candidates.

OBSERVATION GUIDE

Touchpoints for Observation

Observe pulses moving through graph nodes, overload spreading, damaged paths disappearing, and alternate routes lighting back up.

  • Use PULSE for a single signal, STORM for overload, DAMAGE to cut paths, REHAB for reconnection, and TRACE BYPASS to highlight alternate routes.
  • FIELD shows the whole signal network; CHAINS and HEAT make propagation and overload easier to read.
  • DAMAGE plus REHAB separates this lab from Pulse Route Network: the subject is route loss and rerouting, not only delay and synchronization.

This is a visual approximation of a signal network, not a medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical neuroscience tool.
